Effective treatment of cavities and damage to the tooth root

Perforation treatment is a precise endodontic procedure aimed at closing the abnormal connection between the inside of the tooth and the surrounding tissues. Perforation can occur spontaneously (e.g. as a result of inflammation) or as a complication of root canal treatment, e.g. when developing narrow or curved canals.

Description

At Stomo Clinic, such cases are treated under a surgical microscope, which allows us to accurately locate and tightly secure the damage with modern materials, such as MTA or bioceramics.

When is it necessary to supply perforations?

  • After accidental puncture of the root wall during root canal treatment
  • In the case of perforation of the pulp chamber bottom
  • When a tooth has been injured, resulting in damage to the root structure
  • In the case of fistula, swelling or chronic inflammation

Why choose Stomo Clinic?

  • We work only under a microscope, which ensures precision and effectiveness of the procedure
  • We use the highest quality, biocompatible and sealed materials
  • We have extensive experience in treating difficult cases and reendo
  • The treatment is carried out by an experienced endodontist specializing in microscopic therapy

What does the treatment involve?

After radiological diagnostics (X-ray or CBCT), the doctor locates the perforation site. Then, under a microscope, he gently prepares the defect and secures it with a special sealing material. The whole thing ends with a tight filling of the canal and reconstruction of the tooth crown – most often reinforced with an inlay and a prosthetic crown.

Perforation treatment is a procedure that can save the tooth from extraction. Thanks to precise diagnostics, a microscope and modern materials, at Stomo Clinic we restore the function and aesthetics of teeth – even in difficult cases.
